Drain and keep aside. For the Gravy:- Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onion till translucent. Add the tomato puree, ginger, turmeric and chilli powder and cook till the oil separates. Add the garam masala and salt.Add milk and water in it.boil it for some time in medium heat.Add the koftas in the gravy 5 min. before serving because koftas are very soft.

1/2 cup potatoes-diced small some vegetables like cauliflower,capcicum,peas (chopped) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 2 tsp salt or to taste 1 tsp green chillies (chopped) 1 tomato. To Garnish 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves lemon wedges.
[u]Poha preparation Method:-[/u] Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When they splutter, add groundnuts, asafoetida, chopped onion. When onions are light brown, add potatoes and all vegetables, and turn around till they look a bit glossy. Add the tomato, green chillies, turmeric powder and black pepper powder. When the potatoes are cooked, add salt and beaten rice(Wash beaten rice and rinse well until the water runs clear) and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with corriander leaves and lemon wedges and serve poha hot.

Onion paste 4 tsp
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee/ Butter/ Cooking oil 9 tsp
[u]Aloo paratha preparation Method:-[/u] To make a dough- Mix 3 tsp. of ghee (or butter), salt, and water with the flour. Knead well to make tight dough. Divide into portions. Flatten each portion. To make the filling- Heat a pan in medium flame.Add the paste & all the above spices and add the mashed potato in it.Add salt to taste. In each portion of the dough, place the filling. Wrap the dough around the potato mix(filling) to sealed from all sides. Flatten the dough with a roller to give it a circular shape. Take care that the stuffing does not break out during flattening with the help of oil or flour. Place the disc (paratha) on a heated pan and cook for one minute. Turn over and cook the other side for another minute. Brush melted butter or oil on the cooked Paratha and all around and shallow fry both sides over low heat until both sides are lightly toasted and golden brown. Serve aloo paratha hot or warm with your choice of Cucumber yogurt ,or Indian pickles or serve with tomato ketchup.

1 cup condensed milk/or milkmaid - 1 tin 2 quarts fresh,
Whole milk 3/4 cup
Granulated sugar

Cardamom powder
Pinch of saffron
Cocconut dust.
[u]Rice pudding preparation Method:-[/u] Wash rice. Heat the milk in a open pan.When the milk comes to a boil add the rice. Boil the rice in the milk on a medium fire until the rice is completely done. Add condensed milk and cook for another some min., stirring continuously, until the kheer reaches a desired consistency. When it seems fully cooked, add the sugar, cocconut dust and stir till the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens. Remove from fire. Serve garnished with chopped nuts, cardamom powder and saffron. It is delicious both ways, so rice pudding can be served hot as well as served chilled.

Add the chopped vegetables. Stir till onion golden brown. Add Cumin powder ,red chilli powder& black pepper powder. Stir for 2 minutes. Add peas and stir for 3 minutes. Add 1/4 water, rice,salt to taste and 2 table spoon Oil. Stir till water dries. Add remain water ( 1 & 1/4 cup). Cover the dish carefully. Steam should not leak. Cook at medium for 1/2 hour or till the rice is done.(do not open the dish in between, the rice is supposed to be steam cooked) If using a pressure cooker wait for 1 whistle and then leave the cooker for 10 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot Tehri with Curd.
