Trifle recipe (Indian food recipe)

Trifle recipe ingredients:-
Plain sponge cake - A few slices
Milk - 1liter
Custard powder - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tbsp ( as per taste)
Jello (flavored gelatin)
Assorted fruits (chopped)
Whipped cream
Trifle recipe preparation method:-
In a bowl, line the base with slices of the sponge cake. Sprinkle a little milk or any fruit juice. In a cup combine the custard powder with 2 tbsp of milk and mix to form a paste. In a saucepan, bring the milk to boil and add the custard powder mix slowly while stirring simultaneously. Simmer for 5 minutes till slightly thick then remove from heat. When a bit cool spread evenly over the cake layer. Then add a layer of fruits. Mix the jello according to instructions on tha packet. When the jello has cooled and has started to thicken,spread it as a layer over the fruit. Leave to cool. Spread the whipped cream over the top and refrigerate one hour before serving this indian recipe.

Oil or Ghee - 2 tbsp

Heat the ghee or oil in a frying pan and add the cumin seeds and red chili. When the seeds start to pop, add potatoes. Fry for 3-4 minutes then add all the spices. Then add the chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves and tomato. Cover and cook over a low heat until the potatoes are tender. Serve this indian food recipe of aloo methi with parathas.

Sieve both the flour together with salt and add the curd and mix it. Add water a little at a time, to make a not-too-thin batter. Jalebi, a crisp sweet is a very famous dessert indian recipe.
Jalebi recipe ingredients:-
All-purpose flour (maida) - 1 cup
Gram flour (besan) - 1 tbsp
Curd - 1 tbsp
Green cardamom powder - 1 tsp
Yellow colour few drops
Sugar - 1 kg
Ghee for frying
Jalebi recipe preparation method:-
Seive all-purpose flour and gram flour together. Beat the curd, make a thick batter using curd and warm water. Add few drops of yellow colour and cover. Keep aside in a warm place for few hours. Make a syrup with boiling water and the sugar and let it cool. Add cardamom powder in it. Put the batter in the bottle or bag and fry in hot ghee. Make 3 circles with the mixture to give the spherical shape like jalebi and fry in hot ghee. When the jalebis gets hard remove and put in sugar syrup. After a minutes remove from syrup. Serve hot crispy jalebi.

Soak the Channa dal for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours. Pressure cook with channa dal with some salt. Grind the onions and tomatoes together. Heat butter in a pan and put bay leaf and chopped green chillies in it. Add the onion-tomato paste along with the ginger-garlic paste. Add some chili powder and salt. Add the boiled channa dal. Fry till the oil separates and then add garam masala and dry mango powder. Cook for few minutes. Add finely chopped coriander leaves. Serve this hot indian recipe with rice or parathas. Garnish with finely chopped onions and green chillies.

Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

Sprinkle the fish slices with some salt and lemon juice. Keep aside for few minutes. Wash well and drain. Lightly whisk yoghurt and salt in a bowl. Marinate the fish slices for half an hour. Heat the oil in a pan and add bay leaves. Add onion and fry till golden brown. Add ginger paste and green chilli. Cook for few minutes. Then add fish along with the marinade and garam masala in it. Put salt as per taste. Mix it and bring to a boil. Cover and cook till the fish is cooked but firm. Garnish this indian recipe with coriander leaves.
