- Whole wheat flour - 2cups
- Gram flour - 2cups
- Dry fenugreek leaves - 2tbsp
- Red chili powder - 1/2tsp
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- Ghee/Oil - 2tbsp
- Salt to taste
Missi ki iroti recipe preparation method
Mix Wheat flours gram flour, salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and fenugreek leaves(could make powder) and mix well.Rub oil into the flour. Add water and make a soft dough and keep it covered with damp cloth for 30 minutes. Take care while adding water.Knead well again the dough and make balls. Roll into a slightly thick chapaati than usual. Heat the girdle/pan and cook with or without oil. Note that Missi roti could also be cooked in an oven or tandoor. Pranab Mukherjee, Indian defense minister, is in US currently. He and US secratory of defense Donald Rumsfield, have signed a 'New framework for US-India defense relationship". Onion bhajia recipe ingredients
Besan - 1 cup
Cooking oil - 2 tbsp
Ground cumin - 1 tsp
Chopped green chillies - 2
Sliced onion - 1 & 1/2 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Salt as per taste
Onion bhajia recipe preparation method:
Mix all ingredients except oil an onion well. Beat in a blender for 4-5 minutes to incorporate air. This will make the batter fluffier. Let batter rest for 30 minutes in a warm place. Dip onions in batter to coat. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately with chutney, probably tomato chutney. I like onion bhajia with tomato chutney.

To marinate :
Yogurt - 1 cup
Chicken breasts (boneless skinless, cut into bite-size pieces) - 3

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
For the Gravy:
Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Onion (chopped) - 1
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 3 tsp
Tomato puree - 4 tsp
Cashewnut paste - 2 tsp
Fresh Cream - 2 tbsp
Oil - 8-10 tbsp
Salt to taste
Recipe preparation method:
In a large bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, tumeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Stir in chicken, cover, and refrigerate for 2-3 hour. After the chicken is marinated, take them and bake them well in a pan or put the chicken on the grill and cook it till they are cooked.
For the gravy :
Heat oil in a pan , add onions and fry till they turn golden brown. Add ginger & garlic paste and let them fry till the oil seperates. Then add all the masala powders to it, and then add the tomato puree. Add salt and then add cashewnut paste and let the gravy to come to a boil. Then add the cooked chicken pieces, and let the gravy come to a boil. Serve this hot indian recipe of Chicken tikka masala with naans or rice.

Another indian movie, Paheli, based on ghost (bhoot) based story is back with great actors such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan(Ghost), Rani mukherjee. All of these indian actors are super stars on their own rights. The movie is shooted in Rajasthan, north west part of Indian sub continent.

Potatoes, boiled and coarsely mashed - 125g
Salt - To taste

- Boil the tamarind in the water till soft. Strain. The, Add the ground spices, salt and chopped coriander leaves.
- If the mixture is found to be too thick, dilute it with water. Add salt, and chilli powder to the potatoes. Make a small hole in each puri and stuff it with some potatoes mixture. This is fun to make the hole. Enjoy the crispy sound. :)
- Serve the juice (pani) and puffed puris separately so that each of your guest can serve themself by dipping the puris into the pani. I assure you that your guests would love to inquire about this very indian recipe of pani puri.

Yogurt - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Green chillies - 3
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Salt to taste

Cut onion, green chillies and tomato into small peices. Now,beat yogurt and add onion, tomato, green chillies, rosted cumin powder and salt.
Now heat oil and add mustard seeds and let them crackle and turn off and let it cool. Pour over the raita and garnish this indian food with chopped coriander and serve it with rice.
Cabbage Curry (Indian food recipe)

Method of preparation for cabbage curry:
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, red chili, curry leaves and fry for 2 minutes. Grind the coconut, green chili and onions to a paste and add to the above. Fry for few minutes. Add the cabbage and cook for 10 minutes or until the cabbage is cooked. Garnish this indian food recipe with chopped coriander and serve with plain rice or chapathi.
Preparation time for cabbage curry: 20- 30 mins.

Put both the mint leaves and coriander leaves in blender to make paste. Then add 2 cups of coldwater, black salt and jal jeera powder. Add lemon juce. Stir well the mixture. Pass through Strainer to remove the leave remainings and serve chilled Jaljeera.
